In total, Westminster Abbey received 222 cloths of gold from mourners during the exequies of Henry V in November 1422. The two largest offerings came from the absent eleven-month old Henry VI: 13 cloths of gold at Dirige and 24 cloths at the requiem mass. Queen Katherine, widow of Henry V, offered nine cloths of gold at the Dirige and 16 cloths at requiem. Next came the dowager Queen Joan of Navarre, the widow of Henry IV, who offered 11 cloths at Dirige and 13 at the requiem but then purchased back her entire offering for £33 6s 8d to the abbey. Lord Bourchier purchased back his three cloths of gold as well (one from Dirige, two from requiem), while the Count of March bartered his offered 13 cloths of gold for a single gown of “cloth of gold of Damascus.” The money went into Westminster Abbey’s coffers, while the unredeemed clothes of gold remained useful for liturgical purposes or for re-sale. In comparison, Westminster Abbey received 91 cloths of gold for dowager Queen Katherine when she died in 1437. The two largest offerings came from the King, Henry VI, with five for Dirige and seven for the requiem, and from dowager Queen Joan, four for Dirige and six for requiem. Despite the fact that it appears Henry VI celebrated the anniversary of his maternal grandmother, Isabeau of Bavaria, dowager queen of France, at the same time, Cretton is very clear about what was offered for whom. Henry VI was the only one to offer cloths of gold for Isabeau, and just two at that. Twenty- six banners were offered for Katherine, and four for Isabeau.

Ten Women of the Protestant Reformation
Women played a vital role in the Protestant Reformation (1517-1648) not only by supporting the major reformers as wives but also through their own literary and political influence. Their contributions were largely marginalized in the past, but modern-day scholarship has highlighted women's roles and established their importance in spreading the reformed vision of Christianity.
Prior to the Reformation, the lives of women were ordered by the Catholic Church, the patriarchal nobility, and their husbands or sons. Women in the Middle Ages held jobs and some even assumed control of the family business after their husbands' death, but their opportunities were still limited, with rare exceptions, to becoming a wife and mother or a nun. After the Reformation began, women found new freedoms – as well as uncertain futures – as monasteries and nunneries were closed, eliminating the option of monastic life, while also allowing women who had been forced to become nuns to now choose their own path.
The Reformation affected women's lives throughout Europe and beyond and, as it was not a cohesive movement, different Protestant sects regarded women in different ways. The followers of Martin Luther (l. 1483-1546) believed that a woman's place was in the home, caring for the children, and those who supported the views of Huldrych Zwingli (l. 1484-1531) felt likewise, while the Anabaptists, who had emerged as their own sect from Zwingli's reforms, elevated women's status to positions of authority as ministers and prophets.
Even within more restrictive Protestant sects, however, women still found they had more of a voice and greater opportunities than before. Luther's wife, Katharina von Bora, was a former nun who married, raised children, brewed her own beer, and ran a farm, while Katharina Schutz, wife of reformer Michael Zell (d. 1548), became far more famous than her husband for her written works. The Protestant Reformation encouraged literacy because, no matter the sect, the new teaching emphasized the importance of reading the Bible for oneself, and so girls were now allowed an education whereas, previously, educating women was considered a waste of time.
Ten Women of the Reformation
The ten women on this list are only a very small sampling of the many who contributed to the Reformation and are mainly drawn from the Lutheran and Reformed sects as their lives are among the best documented:
Katharina von Bora (l. 1499-1552)
Argula von Grumbach (l. 1490 to c. 1564)
Anna Reinhart (l. c. 1484-1538)
Katharina Schutz (l. 1497-1562)
Marguerite de Navarre (l. 1492-1549)
Marie Dentiere (l. c. 1495-1561)
Katharina von Zimmern (l. 1478-1547)
Jeanne d'Albret (Joan III of Navarre, l. 1528-1572)
Anna Adischwyler (l. c. 1504-1564)
Olympia Fulvia Morata (l. 1526-1555)
These women did not suffer as greatly as many others who took a stand for their religious convictions but often endured hardships for their faith, refusing to compromise, even when doing so would have made their lives easier.

The Shadow Dragon/New Mystery bracket qualifier! Starts March 1st at 3pm EST
Here's how it's going to work:
There are going to be 12 qualifying polls (nine for the men, three for the women)
Pick your most bangable favorite from each poll
Polls will run for one week (I'd prefer 3 days but alas Tumblr doesn't offer the option yet)
The top 32 male characters and the top 16 female characters will qualify for the men's and women's bracket
Polls:
Qualifier 1 (Marth, Jagen, Abel, Cain, Draug, Wrys, Dolph)
Qualifier 2 (Barst, Bord, Cord, Castor, Darros, Julian, Navarre)
Qualifier 3 (Merric, Matthis, Hardin, Wendell, Sedgar, Roshea, Vyland)
Qualifier 4 (Wolf, Bantu, Caesar, Radd, Roger, Jeorge, Jake)
Qualifier 5 (Ogma, Macellan, Tomas, Boah, Beck, Astram, Arran)
Qualifier 6 (Samson, Xane, Lorenz, Gotoh, Frey, Horace, Etzel)
Qualifier 7 (Ymir, Mostyn, Malledus, Jiol, Camus, Michalis, Gharnef)
Qualifier 8 (Medeus, Roderick, Luke, Warren, Samuel, Arlen, Dice)
Qualifier 9 (Kris (M), Roberto, Belf, Reiden, Frost, Legion, Lang)
Qualifier 10 (Caeda, Lena, Minerva, Linde, Midia, Palla, Catria)
Qualifier 11 (Elice, Norne, Athena, Nagi, Nyna, Anna, Cecil)
Qualifier 12 (Phina, Sheena, Kris (F), Malice, Katarina, Clarisse, Eremiya)
(Links will be added when the polls go live)
I am also adding a Google Form to submit characters for an enby bracket so Limstella, Kyza, Mark, and Bramimond don't get left out. These can be characters from any game as long as there is canon basis for them being nonbinary.
Extra notes under the cut
Characters who are excluded from voting:
Anyone who obviously both looks and acts like a literal child. Some characters are borderline so discretion may be used*
Tertiary antagonists
Anyone who lacks either a portrait or a unique name
Special Notes:
There are some characters who, for spoiler purposes, technically have two different names and/or portraits. For simplicity sake I just picked one portrait/name to use for them.
Assume characters are at their New Mystery of the Emblem ages
Rickard is kind of weird because external media states that he's in his twenties, but pretty much every depiction I can find of him makes him look like an actual child? I have no idea what's going on there but I excluded him.
*I have not played Shadow Dragon/New Mystery (I know, I know, it's on my list I promise). I'm doing my best here. If there's a character on here who you think should be excluded just shoot me an ask or something with your reasoning and we can DQ them if necessary. Please actually send me an ask or DM with actual reasoning, don't just leave a snarky comment with no details and expect me to know what you expect to see.

Louis XIV's Gallery of Beauties
A retexture by La Comtesse Zouboff — Original Mesh by @thejim07
This set of 20 portraits was comissioned by the king himself in the 1650s to Charles and Henri Beaubrun (except for a portrait of Henrietta Anna of England, Comissioned to Nicolas Mignard) The portraits comprises the queen, royal princesses and ladies of the court. They hanged at the king's appartments at Versailles. In the 1670s the paintings were progressively relegated to the king's minor residences, but in 1837, Louis-Philippe, King of the French turned Versailles into a museum and rejoined the paintings, in the Louis XIV Rooms, where they remain.
The set includes 20 portraits, with the original frame swatches, fully recolorable. The portraits are of:
Anne Genèvieve de Bourbon, Duchess d'Estouteville and Longueville
Françoise-Athénaïs de Rochechouart (later, Marquise de Montespan)
Anna Martonozzi, Princess of Conti
Anne Louise Boyer, Duchess of Noailles
Anne Marie Gonzaga, Countess Palatine
Anne de Rohan-Chabot, Princess de Soubise
